Before you started posting your musical memories on here Baub I always thought that " 1, 2 ,3 O'Clock, 4 O'Clock Rock. 5, 6, 7 O'Clock, 8 O'Clock Rock" was an extract from a geologists diary!

The ELO live concert from Wembley is well worth a buy providing of course you still have the facility to play Dvd's. Over the years I have collected around 50 live concerts on DVD covering all sorts of genres from the original concert in the park(Simon and Garfunkel) through to more recent David Gilmour live concerts, all great value and timeless in their own right. The ELO Wembley concert is just non stop enjoyment.

Been a bit quiet on here , so I thought I would stir it up a bit .
Took a run up to Scunthorpe today to pick up a car part , haven,t been there for several years .
Made me think of the old saying " If Typhoo put the T in Britain , who put the C*** in Scunthorpe ."

Age must have something to do with it, but I completely fail to see how anyone gets enjoyment from music made in the years beyond 1960.

I blame computer games.

Sadly (some might say) most of the music I listen to is 60/70 years old.

I love anything by Dickie Hart & The Palpitations. Arthur Righters, or Perry Toenitus and the Inflammations.

Rock'n'Roll is King.

Baub, proud member of the Carl Perkin Fan Club, and veteran of many show stopping riots when police closed down the show. Management panic when be rocked in the isles or was it ailes?
