I always imagined United was self sponsored, or competed with driver assisted funding as it appears there is rarely a commonly known commercial brand on those cars… and they seem to pop up EVERYWHERE… so the pressures would be much less to chase headlines..

And seems to be drivers who are in racing to enjoy their money and not bring the business along with them. Learn to drive fast and assist a young kid moving up, always been a fan of theirs and livery is nice, clean and understated. Not every one needs to burns the eyes to get attention

Apparently Prema Racing have been talking to Logan Sargeant, about joining their IndyCar team next year.

Probably wouldn't surprise me to see him go over there. We'll see how the rest of the F1 season goes and if he can improve

I thought they were going to pair a youngish but experienced regular with a Prema alumni.

Sargeant doesn't fit either criteria?
Or did he drive for them in F3?

He raced with them in 2020, but still not what I would really call a fit.

In saying that, if Arrow are leaving, if Nolan and Christian are cheaper, ('Couldn't meet him in the middle on terms', so it's about money) if there is the possibility of new sponsors along with the drivers, and if pressure is on to produce results and they can't engineer their way to the win, then replacing the driver is their only possible avenue.

I thought Rossi was doing a good job.
If I had the money, I could start own team with the discarded drivers....

Sounds like money was the issue to me. My guess is that they wanted to keep Rossi but pay him less than he's currently getting. I like Rossi and he's been pretty much Pato's equal this year.



It's been rumored that Hy Vee is going to follow Lundgaard to McLaren which if true might be reason enough for the move. I hope that doesn't prove to be the case.

I thought the Hy Vee deal was Bobby Rahals's and was linked to the multi-year deal he put together for the race at Iowa in 2022?

I don't remember if the number of years of the deal was mentioned. Is this year two or year three of the deal?

This article from Forbes has the details but basically in 2020, Hy Vee signed a three-year deal with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and the Iowa race was a separate project, that fitted into the company's overall marketing plan.
