Two fines, $ 10 K each, nice way to fund the checks. I wonder what has been found into the wiring loom.

Maybe it's the chassis that flew to Le Mans and got improperly converted back to IMSA spec later? Anyway, JDC on podium (with a legal car)

Dude. I think McLaren has really shafted Pfaff. I wonder if this is connected to Inception moving as well?

I doubt it has anything to do with INception, Iribe funds all that I would think, this just seems like they maybe used to get help from Porsche to run the 911, maybe got some help this year from Mac and it is not there for 25.
Weirdly McLaren did some great business getting so many people in their cars for this year but the car simply has not been quick enough, so some teams might be thinking of changing |

McLaren doesn't keep a spares program like Porsche or even Ferrari. Their spare availability has been compared to Corvette

Seems like McLaren weren't prepared for the increase in upkeep from having ore customers. |

Not the first time I have heard horror stories about McLAren, their road cars are at times not much better,m some very interesting YT content about it a few years ago.

And this is why so many have gone with Audi, BMW, Mercedes , Ferrari, Porsche and even Lambo. When you buy one of their cars you have access to spares, support and reasonably priced. This also gives you a good re-sale value on the car as it is in demand
I see some like to complain of the German manufacture hegemony in GT3 racing, but they just offer a better product and service than others. Hope Corvette and Ford use this model to establish their customer base. Mclarens have always been limited numbers in competition, seems the majority are in BGT |

I think that's the reason for limiting the sales of both, let them build up what's needed and where before they end up with cars everywhere. But fewer cars means your parts are that much pricier without parts to spread development costs across

On top of the customer support the successful companies seem to also be good at offering longevity for their product. The merc is being used since 2016 with an update on 2020, current Audi was launched I think 2016 or 2017 had 2 evos and was strong until end of 2023 when they stopped the customer support. Lambo Huracan 2016 and had 2 evos. BMW 2022 and will go at least until 2026 with an evo package. It is helpful to know you can buy a car and not worry about having to buy a new one a couple of years down the line just pay for an evo package and still use same chasis
Maybe I get this wrong but I think Mclaren went through some 4 different models for their GT3 and now the 750s was launched. |
