I noticed on the list that the Cadillacs for Wayne Taylor no longer have the andretti team name associated with them. Is that new? Or did we know that was coming?

First time since the IMSA/GA merger that Risi is not on the entry list. I guess they got their win and decided to go? Dragonspeed has taken their place. So I'm glad we still got a pro Ferrari. That is what matters in the end.

37 GT3 cars..breaksdown I think by this
BMW 3 Chevrolet 5 Aston Martin 4 Lamborghini 3 Lexus 2 Porsche 4 Ford 3 Mercedes 5 Ferrari 8 No McLaren, Audi, or Acura anymore Also 9 makes for WEC and IMSA each. 8 are the same. Only difference is that IMSA has Lambo, WEC has McLaren. |

I can see Keating and Zillsch getting the bulk of the stints early. By sunrise it will only Shane and Scott trading. This is the most interesting driving foursome in GTD I think. |

Why would you take out the GT driver of Zilisch for Shane and Scott?? He isn't a slouch at all, only reason he isn't still in IMSA is he is old enough to run in Nascar now. He's been a supported and winning driver in everything he's been in

Surprised not many more customers picked up the ford gt3 or the corvette gt3.Pretty much same number of cars for both ford and corvette as last year

Feels like they are both limited in sale and distribution rather than pop by an office and order like Porsche or Ferrari

Compared to some makes I think their factory system works well, and the cars are considerably more reliable it seems.
I think prep plays a part aswell however and the fact that Pfaff have gone from Mc to Lambo stagger me, as the Lambo is fast but fairly notoriously unreliable, but nowhere near as bad as the Mc it seems!! The Ford seemed OK sad there are not more takers, cost maybe, not at all shocked by Corvette took TF all year to ever get close, factory cars insanely fast all the time, clearly a step forward from customer, actually shocked there are 5 of them. |

Risi found customer for their services. Good team, good drivers, clearly a very good addition to the GTD PRO class. |

Poor GT World Challenge America. The article confirms Conquest Ferraris in GTDX. But it says below that Samantha Tan is going to GTDX too. I'll actually watch some VP Sportscar series now with GT3 cars in it. Will be interesting to see them compared to the LMP3 cars too.

If you look at the avg lap times from last year's race, zilisch actually had a faster average lap than McLaughlin by a tenth or so and had 2-3/10ths faster fastest lap . I get it, no substitute for experience so Zilisch likely won't close but don't sleep on him.

I think McLaughlin is a good choice. Lots of experience and quite quick too.
