So Munchis are back for the new season albeit with a reduced program (8 rounds) and seemingly running only one car for all events with the possibility of adding another on selected events (presumably if someone stumps up the required cash). I'm not sure if Munchis wouldn't be better off competing in the IRC to be honest - I don't know what the budget comparison is?

Not really, they would have to pay out for new cars and find a new team to run them

Glad to see them back in the WRC, I though they got some good results and points last year, hopefully this will carry on to this year

Fair point about the cost of switching series, I guess unless they could shift the WRC's for decent money they'd be well out of pocket if they did switch.

I'm not too hopeful for their chances this year - they look to be running a much reduced program and the second car (when it does appear) will be driven by someone with a fat wallet rather than abundant talent. I guess their cars also won't have recieved any updates? So they'll be running older spec machinery than a lot of the others.

I don't think theyed be able to sell the cars in the current climate but hiring out the second car might bring some money in to update the first car. Maybe in Argentina they'll get a good result, with it being their home rally.
