Since a certain fan of a certain driver has completely fouled up the works with narrow minded Nationwide race threads, I'll BUMP this up for the start of the Texas round.
Carl on the pole and Brad K outside. The LINEUP Just about to go green with some night racing. Looking forward to it. |

Funny. I was thinking of reviving it myself, but you took the initiative. ;P What a shock to see Busch NOT win, though it wasn't his fault. |

Thanks guys - so much better to follow this without the unwarranted one-eyed "star" worship.
Man, that shunt for Busch was so freaky on the timing - could have been Edwards as well. Must be every back marker's nightmare - taking out a leading car like that - not much that he could have done about a blown tyre though. |

Question:
What do we do with this thread once DF comes back for the Danica races?

He does spend some time on race threads and they are great, TBH, with all the pertinent info needed, but they could be stuck in here. Surely, he'll understand. |

That's the way it used to be and is definitely possible this year, but I think the winner in the end will have gone to victory lane at least once or twice.

Race is underway and the two-car tandem is the order of the day in the Nationwide race as well it seems.
25 laps completed and currently under caution (not sure why as I just tuned in to Justin.tv). Edit - Caution because Harvick apparently blew his engine while leading. Edit 2 - And caution again, Brian Scott gets spun by Joey Logano in turn 3. No contact, Scott rejoins the field. Last edited by rustyfan; 16 Apr 2011 at 19:54. |

3rd caution, Sam Hornish Jr. gets turned coming out of the tri-oval. Avoids hitting anything and can continue on.
Edit - 4th caution. Another car turned by Logano, this time Bliss in turn one. No major contact once more and Bliss continues to pit road under his own power. Last edited by rustyfan; 16 Apr 2011 at 20:24. |

5th caution. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is turned into the backstretch wall. Major damage to the car, he's out of the race.

6th caution. You know the drill by now, this time Donnie Neuenberger gets turned coming off turn two. Managed to get the car stopped enough to just tap the inside wall and then drive off.

Personally I would like them to be lumped in here but it isn't worth the hassle. |

7h caution. Massive wreck on the backstretch on the restart as one car got turned. There were some hard hits but hopefully everyone involved are ok.
Lots of contenders involved, including McMurray, Kyle Busch, Bowyer and others. |

The big one is to be expected on a restart with less than 30 to go. That be plate racing and what a mess it can be!
Understandable, but we ALL have been victimized by the "Danica Lunacy". |

Just over 10 laps to go and it's starting to get intense. Would love to see Nemechek or Mike Wallace grab the win
