Troll alert!

There is a rookie poster on the forum, that goes by the name racerex. He/she is a troll. As you know, trolls come to message boards to cause trouble. They post items, information, to cause problems, disrupt a forum. They also insult, attack members of the forum. The best way to handle a troll is to ignore him/her. Do not give then what they seek, attention! If racerex wants to take part in a civil manner, showing respect for the membership of the forum, fine, if he/she continues the trolling behavior, do not pay him/her any attention! Check out the profile, anyone that list he/she is an idiot, and under his/her occupation he/she list: "anal" is up to nothing but causing trouble. Please heed the warning!

Not sure I'd say the X-man is a troll...he's just a knucklehead. Now if Meggie Poo was here...than I'd say yeah.

If I have offended anyone at all other than ONE person please advise me and I would like to clarify any misunderstandings.
Would those of you I insulted,attacked or showed lack of respect for PLEASE respond.I think you will find none or this post deleted.

But this one shows all the behavior charistics of a troll. The attack, the "Hitler" reference, the claiming that "that's the little authority that you have", Will post a legitmate post, then go right back to troll behavior. Then the excuse me, I stand corrected, I will not be taking part in the forum (you'll notice he/she's still there) I will report as spamming etc. The "why is that question, and the **** about "you and I are really very much alike." Following the typical course, he/she will get more bold with his/her attacks, and probally quite vulgar as well. He/she is here to disrupt, nothing else. I've seen it too many times on too many forums. They tend to follow the same pattern. This one is typical. Please ignore him/her.

Lee- I have known RacerX for along time. We have posted on several boards together. He may be a goof ball- But NOT a troll. He is still posting because I told him to give us a chance.

How, very simply! You came here and imeditaly attacked, showed the typical attitude and behavior of a troll, threatened this forum that if you were contacted by moderators or anyone else from the Ten-Tenths forum that you would report the IP number as spamming! The little "Hitler" remark, not to mention the quote from the movie "First Blood"! I really don't care how many people you might know here, you have shown yourself to be rude, insulting, and incapable of conducting yourself in anything resembling a civilized manner! Until you prove differently, I consider you nothing more than the troll that you are! You have not started out on the right foot at this forum. Common sense would dictate that the very last thing that you would want to do with a first post on a new forum is attack, get into a pi$$ing contest with one of the forum moderators! You succeeded in doing something that is very difficult to do, make me angry. I will be leaving for the evening in a few minutes, I will sleep on this and decide, as some point tomorrow whether I ban you from this forum or not.

You make a statement about wanting to come here and converse about racing, etc. Perhaps you can prove that in the time before I come back tomorrow, but I doubt you will. You say "I don't know you," with the attitude that you have displayed here so far, I don't believe I would care to know you!

I'm sorry, but this one has shown nothing but trollish behavior! Being, as you say, a goof-ball, or a knucklehead, or whatever, does not excuse the behavior that he has thus displayed! I tend to go by my gut-feeling, and am rarely wrong when I do. My gut-feeling tends to tell me that this one is trouble. You say that he is not a troll, so far, his actions have proven you wrong. As stated above, I will sleep on it tonight, and make my decision at some point tomorrow. He has that long to convence otherwise!

lee,I think the only person who was "miffed" at the reaction to my post was YOU,maybe we BOTH overreacted a bit?
If ALL the posts were available to read EVEN the deleted ones this would be very clear to all the forum readers to see I made no foul and comments were made in fair play.

I make no apology for what was said.I saw no complaints other than YOURS about my posts and by the way my first post was around 1/7/02.

I can remember when a certain poster here said much worse things about me....& was allowed to do so.

One post- (rude or not) about making a thread about his beloved dead driver & turning it into a ****ing match of FORD- verses CHEVY, does not even come close to the number of times that I was expected to put up with being called a BEEACH, Stupid, ignorant, dumb & that I Know nothing. (over & over)

Lee - I too took a bit of offense that it was turned into Chevy Verses Ford. I told you that, but said I would be nice.

So a person who gets you mad because they become upset over the fact that a thread switched subjects & he didn't appreciate it---is a TROLL & may be banned.

& a person who calls a woman bad names & insults 75% of the posters here, posts an article & claims it his own words, IS NOT a troll & is allowed to post here still?
