Simon Harrison with GR Motorsport. I know they are meant to have folded, but this is official.

Why's Macau so popular if it's the other side of the world?

The car will be run by GR Motorsport owner Paul Ridgway. Don't know if they will actually use the GR Motorsport name this time.

Macau seems to be "Monaco of Asia" It's very twisty. As well, a lot of F1 stars have raced their including Schumacher and Senna I believe?
Taken from an article somewhere: "Many of the best drivers in the last fifteen years used Macau as a stepping stone to Formula One. Ayrton Senna, Gerhard Berger, Damon Hill, Jacques Villeneuve, Michael Schumacher and Mika Hakkinen were some of the drivers who have competed in the event." |
