Thank you to ITV..
..and whoever decided to recruit Angus Scott to present and put VBH back to doing interviews.
A vast improvement - I assume this decision has been made between Brands and now - but I'm unsure how many other clashes the BTCC has with BSB which Angus is presenting too this year. |

VBH could do with scripting her interview questions though. She seems to struggle to think of what to ask these people, particularly after something's happened. Overall though Angus added to the show.

lets not be too critical here... itv have their faults (VBH, James Allen etc) but for the first time ever there's live / same day btcc and bsb coverage on uk terestrial tv - this is great for british motor racing.
sunday's F1 and btcc broadcasts were good... for once, well done ITV! |

Agreed Jon - lots of time is being devoted to motor racing by a very capable team now. The interviews could be better, but that's something they need to work on as a team.

I worked them out the other day:
BTCC Thruxton 4 June - BSB Mallory Park 4 June BTCC Croft 16 July - BSB Knockhill 16 July BTCC Snetterton 13 August - BSB Croft 13 August This day in age they MUST be able to link Angus up to present one while elsewhere! Save us from VBH!! |

Of course, to get around this problem you could have a TV programme broadcast on a Sunday afternoon covering a variety of different sports with a presenter located in a studio.
Oh, hang on... |

ITV stopped doing that in the 1980s; Sky stopped doing it in 1998 - I'm surprised it has taken the BBC so long to catch up...

IMO Grandstand never recovered after they stopped showing the Rover SD1 stuffing it into the Silverstone pitwall during the start sequence to the bass drum ! Now that's what I call class
