I'm assuming that Bucknum is the new Foyt driver?

Any word on whether Cheever will compete?

Tim Northcutt should be qualifying in the top 3 on the gridTim Northcutt should be qualifying in the top 3 on the gridTim Northcutt should be qualifying in the top 3 on the gridTim Northcutt should be qualifying in the top 3 on the grid
Here are your results:

No one had Wheldon on the Pole

Tim was cosest to the Pole speed for 2 pts.

DrDisque did the best in the Top Three Rows" with 5 of 6 and helio correct for 6 pts.

Flavinha had 4 of 6 with Helio correct for 5 pts.

AlwaysFirst had 4 of 6 with none correct for 4 pts., and I trailed the pack with 3 of 6 for 3 pts.

No one had marco as the slowest.

Tim had the closest to the "Slowest Speed" for 2 pts.

No one had Meira as the "Just Missed,' but Tim, Flavinha and AlwaysFirst got 1 pt. (as we did when this new parameter was introduced) for having kanaan as the "Just Missed," but he was in the Top Six.

Points after Qualifying:

We all had problems in certain areas....If it weren't for the speed picks, I'd be in last instead of first at this tage of the weekend...and my race picks have more than a few holes in them, based on the qualifying, and how this track usually races...

Totals:

1. Tim - 8 pts.
2. DrDisque - 6 pts.
(tie) Flavinha - 6 pts.
4. AlwaysFirst - 5 pts.

Not a good start for any of us thus far....

Frankly, based on quals, Flavinha & DrDisque seem to be looking fairly good for the Top 5...but there are 266 miles to race and lots of things happen at Nashville...

Let's see how it plays out...

But I'm not that confident in my selections right now....

Here are your race results:

No one had Dixon as the winner.

AlwaysFirst had 3 of the Top Five with Meira correct, and Tim had 2 of the Top Five with Wheldon and Meira in the correct spots for 4 pts. each.

Flavinha and DrDisque had 3 of 5 with none in correct spots for 3 pts. each.

No one had Wheldon with the fastest lap.

Tim Was closest to the speed: Actual - 202.411 Tim - 199.001

DrDisque was the only peson to pick a "Milestone" correct...Wheldon in front at lap 100.

Flavinha picked Jeff Bucknum as 1st Out for 2 pts.

No one had Marco as the "mover (18th -8th)

No one had Hornish as the "Fall from Grace" (2nd - 14th)

FLavinha also was closest to the Avg. Speed: Actual - 162+ Flavinha - 157.912

Final Nashville Results:

1. Tim - 14 pts.
2. Flavinha - 13 pts.
3. DrDisque - 11 pts.
4. AlwaysFirst - 10 pts.

In a nutshell...as a group, our picks were terrible....Wheldon getting past Meira in the final laps was the only thing that saved my bacon

It is a shame that Whelldon ran out of laps...he was the fastest car on the track, and it cost Flavinha 5 pts.

Her picks were really the best of the bunch this weekend.

I was lucky...and very disappointed in my selections overall.

Not exactly a great weekend for me was it? I'm safe in my current position but I just can't seem to close the gap to Flavinha. Roll on Milwaukee!

I guess you can because Wheldon is working against me this season...

I really hope he win some races because he deserves that. It was a shame what happened in Nashville.
