Should Drift Australia ban Jap cars
I've just seen an interview with Robbie Bolger, he said Japanese cars should be banned and he would like to see just Holdens and Fords battle it out.
Surely light and agile Japanese cars are far better suited to drifting than V8 brutes. |

I think he's saying the same as CAMS for the Aussie Supercars, you can have any car that you like, as long as it's a Ford Falcon or a Holden Commodore.
Considering the Japanese seemed to invent the "sport", then it's fitting that their machinery is in it. It'd be like having South Africa playing the West Indies for the Ashes (cricket). Just not done! |

That used to be the trend, but now the cars are making so much power, they use softer, usually new tyres, as they make more smoke, and still give drive out of the corners (so someone can't get underneath to overtake)

I don't know about Yoko's, but Kumho's are definately being used. Can you supply any of that additive, it would look cool when we are warming our tyres on the dummy grid |

Ohh, right, I thought it was some sort of paint on stuff, like you do with tyre softener.
