Death's visit.

I am sorry to have been away for so long, but sadly, when death pays a call, it seems to stay. I had mentioned the lady that lived across the street, The day after her funeral, the man that lives next door to her passed away. He was in his 80s, a World War II Marine Veteran of the Pacific Theater. He received a full militry burial. He son, who is a close friend ask me, to be a pall bearer. I accepted, put on the Dress Blues and helped carry him to his final resting place. This has been a tradgic time for our community. It has taken allot out of us. I pray that death has visited us for long enough, and goes back from whince it came. These families, and our neighborhood have suffered enough. I'm back, but will probably take awhile to recover and be back to where it isn't a effort to post, or do anything else. Sorry, but everyone here has been in a stupor. I will reply to some threads and hopefully be back into the swing of things before too long. Thanks,
