....and its interesting to note that GT2 is hordes of 360's against just 3 Porsche 911's - the opposite of FIA GT !

I do agree with you - that's a great entry

Indeed.Was there a 360 Cup in Italy?

A very impressive entrylist. Is the Italian GT Championship always so strong?

Nice to see such a strong national GT Championship.

Pity we can't get one to work down here.

mmmmmmm well maybe there are strong teams but the level of the drivers was not that good last season, this year the things have changed with many more professional drivers but in the past season we had incredible accidents made by "not so gentlemen" drivers...

In BGT maybe you have "slower" cars or smaller teams but drivers are a lot more "professional" for what i saw in Silverstone last august

BTW some years later we have the 2nd round of one of the greatest "duels" of GT Racing...

Pescatori and Ferrari against Riccitelli and Porsche, remember FIA-GT 2001?

really looking forward to this...

A great line up of cars there, I know we have fantastic racing in the BGT Championship but it really would be great to have a national line up like that.

Also, can anyone shed any light on who this “Base Up” character is in the Tete * Tete viper? And why does he race under that particular name?

"Base Up", is, I believe, a pop star of some renown in Italy.

How can a team like Racing Box afford to run a Maserati??? In a national GT championship?

How much money could they be getting from Pirelli? I'm sure the Masarati/Pirelli association would love to see an MC12 in Italy along with the bevy of 360GTCs and 575GTCs. How much is it worth to them, I wonder? If that really was the case, I would've thought AF Corse would get the nod, rather than run Trofeos in Spain. Ah well, perhaps there's another explanation?

i don't think "base up" is a singer, i'll let you know if i find something... about the mazza.. well maybe there is just some "collectors" that wants to give a "palmares" to his car, so he lend it to racingbox... for many of the 360 GTC it was the same...

Team Sara Free is probably aka as Mik corse while Rock media motors is erbecks's team

Good thought about the collectors. I know that was mentioned for Astons as well, by Dave Richards. It's bizzare, but nice for those who get to race the cars at someone else's expense.

About Erbeck...is his name spelled that way, or "Herbeck"? I've seen both written. Furthermore, where does his money come from, out of curiousity?

Another Lambo could be in LMES by JLOC (Apicella)
