forward head (neck ) restraints

Hi I wonder if you find the head restraints restricting in closed cars, as well as uncomfortable. Are there any other devices which don't use a yoke around the neck but give more freedom by being chassis mounted? Would there be much demand by "consumers" for this?? patrick

I would have thought chassis mounted would be more dangerous. If your head was chassis mounted and stayed in place when your body moved forward, or any deformation of the chassis, etc.
