Oulton Park Rumour!
I recently heard on the humble grapvine that a well known National racer-and who is a property developer (I have no idea who this might be by the way!)has put in bid to by Oulton Park and all its land for possible housing etc...anyone else heard anything on this??

Why not? They have financial problems like everybody else.
Didn't they try to sell Cadwell a while ago? |

I've heard nothing about this at Oulton - I would have though that, if there is a need for more housing in the area, there is plenty of land which would be available more cheaply. The only development I know of at Oulton is a realignment of the track to give a better entry into the Knickerbrook chicane.
I've heard a rumour recently that Octagon is selling Cadwell.....

I read that too, Dave. But Octagon said is was just a rumour and that they had no intentions of selling up.

Sorry, but more rumours from the weekend...Brands for sale...Ms.Foulstone wants to buy it but told you must by all the others as well...not interested in that idea...Now a certain Mr.Ecclestone is interested in just Brands!...where will it stop???
