clk-lm should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
ultima GTR in Grand-Am in 2002

K&n engineering will be campaigning an ultima GTR in 2002 in Grand-Am. they start there season at the rolex 24 hrs. i just had alook at the grand am rules, and it looks like the car will be in the GTS class with the saleens and vettes.i cant wait, maybe we might see teams purchasing ulimas for le mans.

thats all the info i could get about the ultima. but the grand am rules were quite interesting. as of 2003, maximum engine displacement will be 366 ci. so does that make the C5-r and the S7 obsolete after next season.

the s-7 and c5r are race proven machines, but what do you think about the ultima.

Simon Pullan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The British GT Ultima struggled this year on account of being underpowered. It wasn't even able to keep pace with the GTO frontrunners. How it will stand up against the Saleen and Corvette I'm not really sure. It would have to be radically different to the British machine to stand a chance.

I would prefer to see a Stealth B6 compete on the international scene.
