He wasn't the best but my favourite was Ulf Granberg, the Swedish train driver who used to "take his brain out" for qualifying laps in the Volvo 240 Turbo. Magic

At the moment, Tarquni is the fastest but crashes too often, Giovanardi is more consistent and fast so probably that makes him better.
In the history of the series, i reckon Roberto Ravaglia, especially being able to win the 86 ETC in the ageing BMW 635csi, and in 88 in the underpwered BMW M3. |
