The Next One (Six actually) Sat or Sun, what's best for you?
The next 360 MRC 6 hours is being planned. But there's a key issue therefore anyone with an opinion is welcome to post their vote for Saturday or Sunday.
My feeling is that Saturday is better, but Sunday means you don't need time off work, unless it's to get over the hangover! |

Not sure it is wise to ask us potential competitors but saturday is good 'cos sunday to recover and get all stuff cleaned / put away. Also travelling home saturday eve usually easier than sunday eve!
Whatever, will be there! |

The advantage of a Saturday race is that it gives more time for post-race socialising (and, who knows, a Delta Barbecue?).

End of , job done... can not remember the last event over in one day. His Worthiness in Sussex seems hell bent on having meetings that last a week, leave for the 'Ring' Wednesday get home Monday...

Majority of posts, unsurprisingly, had little or nothing to do with the Saturday or Sunday question, so I have moved them here:-

There's no option in the poll for those of us who don't really mind which day it is, one of whom is me.
But PLEASE, can we have the regs asap so that planning can begin |

How many circus tents would you need to put up Sam? As long as its less than about fifty, there should be plenty of room.

If the organisers want to add additional races then perhaps that could be a way to run a two day event.

well its twice the amount we pay for the single day and all the associated costs as well we may look at this in the future, but at the moment, I think we should walk before we start running....that said, there are some possibilities that we are investigating but nothing solid

Yet to be decided, I guess, Terry, but presumably you will be one of the first to know!
We are well past voting date, so poll closed. |
