REAL DTM car for sale/vote

Check out this Ebay bid. Some toy to get yourself if you win the lottery.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HISTO...74536417QQrdZ1

Since we're on the topic of winning the lottery and buying a car. If you could buy one touring car, which year and one would it be?

I have DTM 1992 review and Laffite´s car looks different IMHO.

I would buy Ravaglia´s M3 winner in WTCC 1987, although i would like any BMW in the last 35 years.

This chassis looks awfully familiar...

It would noot surprise me at all if it were one of the ex-AMG Phil Ward Team Technophone 190Es... There were two delivered to Australia in 1986, from the factory, which ran at Bathurst in Martins Filters ciggie colours...

Mr Ward and Mr Reithmuller bought them, then ran them a few seasons on a shoestring... till SuperTouring came along and they were converted to 2 litre spec... as described in the article... with an Aussie MoTeC attached as well...

The paintwork is still the same as the Team Technophone scheme of 10 years or so ago.....

If I won the Lottery, the Touring Car I would buy would be the 1996 ITC Merc

Originally, I thought it was odd the ad mentioned it was converted to 2L. I read the ad a 2nd time and then I realized it was one of 2 190Es imported to race in the short lived NATCC (sighh....) This was probably the 2nd one which never saw a NATCC start grid. The one in the NATCC had a different coloured striping. So it is one of the Phil Ward 190Es--he's the only one who converted 190Es to ST spec?

I think the 190Es Evo 2s looked. Nice and flashy? ST cars with their fancy wings look cool. I quite liked the look of the red/white Dodge Strati.

1996 Honda Accord (de Radiguès): Belgian Procar

I almost have every picture of that car that's ever been published in magazines + my own pictures. Also a rather big collection of STW & BTCC pics. Some NATCC, JTCC, ITCC,... 1997 Accord was also nice in Stella-Artois livery.
