Lola T600
The first ever Group C car? Yes I know it wasn't really, but near enough perhaps! How many made does anyone know. At a guess, 3 for Europe - one for Edwards/Grid, one for Becker, then another to replace the 1st Grid car. And perhaps 7 or 8 for the States? Cooke-Woods 2, Interscope 2, JLP 2, and perhaps 1 or 2 others?
Anyone know the details? And where are they all now, none have ever appeared in Historic Group C/GTP have they? |

Most in America, Dan, although there was one in the Rosso Bianco collection. I very nearly bought one when I got our 332. Glen Brown, who was selling the 332 had a T600 - ex Interscope - but it would have been a fish out of water over here. I have to say after a Chevron B16 I cosider it one the best looking sports cars, especialy in the Interscope livery! One thing that does not come over in photos is how big they are.

Gorgeous looking car, the yellow one at Silverstone Classic 3 years ago was this the ex Redman '81 IMSA winning car? In which case who owns it and any chance of seing it out again this side of the pond?
