Porsche 906 (Mitter/Davis on Targa Florio 1965)

Hi Friends,

all autors write that Mitter/Davis at Targa Florio 1965 (2nd place)
had their bergspyder "Kangaroo" with chassis 906-007.
Only, Jürgen Barth in his book "Porsche 904" writes 906-008!!!

Please, explain me what is hier going (sorry for my English).....

I am extraordinary fan of Gerhard Mitter and Porsche race cars
and I need know all.

Many, many thanks and best wishies!

According the www.classicscars.com it's the 906-007, see this page. But according this page there's indeed some confusion between 007 and 008.

I hope this info is helpful.
