David, turn OFF the lunched control!
I don't care how much Ronny assures you. It only works when it doesn't matter. It cost us a chance of seeing a much better race than what went on. Oh yea, it cost you some probable higher points too.

In my opinion, it cost him a win. But what I really find unfathomable is why on earth did he use launch control during the ******* FORMATION LAP!!. If you ask me that was just plain stupid.

I suppose DC wanted to check that his launch control was working,I think several drivers use that formation lap as a final test for LC and final systems checks.. this has got to be the worst addition to an F1 car in years..It's way to unreliable...Don't use it!

Austrian GP2001...The Schu's LC failed...he loses two places to the Willys...he switches back to the manual system...continues till a rookie proves he is jus that. A rookie. Drove real well to take second place. Genius!

Just for the record, this had NOTHING to do with launch control. They only use LC on the race START, turning it off for the warm up lap to lay down rubber. DC's LC wouldn't have even been switched on.

It was probably the traction control that failed, then. Or perhaps this time it really WAS brain fade. What was that about girl friends on the pitch? Paging Peter Sauber ...
