chain driven diff
Hi, could anyone tell me how to convert a mini differential to take a chain drive.
I went to a local hillclimb and they all used a mini diff which was converted but no one could comment on how this is done, a explaination and/or some build up photos will be ideal. Failing that a goog supplier of a chain diff. Thanks |

Hi
You just need to take the crown wheel off and bolt a Motor bike back chain sprocket on. (Talon & renthal Make them). Then just make a sealed unit that covers the main diff with abit of space. Then put grease in if geared or lub if plates. If you can't do that then Quaiffe or as ropey says Jedi have them. Cheers Stephen |

As Old Ropey say, John Corbyn is the man to call as he will be able to provide both standard and limited slipped diff version ready to run. His phone number is above.
