Insurance

I have received my media accreditation from Goodwood but don't know how to handle the insurance requirement. The accreditation states
"Photographers must also present a certificate of Public Liability insurance with
cover of a minimum £5million". I have covered events from Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, etc., but here in the colonies we don't have that requirement. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks
Bob H

You could try Cliik, photoguard, Aaudiki. Others are available. Not sure if they do short term cover, but a years premium is not too much.

A years PLI for £5m for photographer should be around £ 90.

Insurance requirements are so random. Some organizations ask for it, others don't. Whatever.

Question

Any suggestions: want to know what kind of insurance to take for race car? I looked up in this forum for car insurance for race and didnt find anything, I assume it is all key off insurance? What is a fair price for a super stock car and 40 ft trailer? Are tools and spare parts covered? Is the trailer covered by the truck insurance or do I need a separate policy? Let me know, thanks!

Posting your question in the motorsport art and photography page won't get many answers.

Race car insurance generally covers you whilst on track for accidents with other people.

Your road car insurance should cover you for the truck, trailer and race car whilst on the road. You would have to discuss with your insurance company, the terms and values of everything including parts, tools etc.,
