See it here and coming up at Siverstone.
Please note: Audio level is poor.

Strikes me as a great idea, but I suppose they are limited by space in F1 paddocks, what with all the equipment the teams bring.

As far as im aware access to the BMW Park is free for ticket holders, and anyone who owns a BMW and can prove it with their car keys! (Quite how the last requirement is policed i have no idea! )

I expect there to be queues getting into this themepark.

marzF1rocks has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Well it looks good, i would imagine you would have to get there really early to avoid all the people..

As to charging have no idea, but i hope not as we pay enough for our tickets

In Barcelona it was open to everyone, and it wasn't on the track, it was in Barna itself, down at the Port Vell, the nice part of the seaport so to speak.

I have to say it was quite alright. I didn't get to see cars running as we went there quite late in the day, around 9 pm (would have been quite a sight at that time!) but I think it was nice. There are a Sauber C24 donned in BMW colors, a WTCC car and a F-BMW car there for pictures to be taken with. However, you don't have to pay for them. They give you a code you have to have visible to the camera when they take your photo and then the Monday after the race, with that code you can access your pics in a private BMW site completely for free and in high resolution. That I found nice.

There's a zone for weight comparisons, where you can check the weight of race brakes and tyres compared to road ones (amazing) as well as touch a BMW F1 engine or a seat. There are interactive screens, a replica of the pitlane monitors with a Martin Brundle-taped speech, a tyre-change competition, F1 driving simulators as well as a café and the ubitiquous merchandising shop.

I think it is a good idea. I only missed appearances from the drivers... but then again you always want more don't you?

Perhaps it will be at an off-track location everywhere. Could be a great promotion for the non-fan.

It is free, with a limited number of people allowed in at a time. Good concept I say. Anything bringing cars closer to the fans is normally good.

I think it's a great idea and it's really good to see a manufacture heading this idea.

Does anyone know where it will be at Silverstone?

On the footage from the Nuerburgring it was also outside the circuit so open to all I'd guess.
