Big Nose, The Dude, Gentleman Jim, Notso, Maxamillion, RaceCam, Spud, Mr Potato Head, The Kid, Toddler and Junior.

You'll have to work these out for yourself!

As for Courtney we'll just have to wait...

Maybe we should let him get into the pool before we speculate as to whether he can walk on water.

Baby Faced Assasin (Glenn Seton), No Baloney Tony (Longhurst),
the Grouse Rouse (Andy Rouse), Spicey Gricey (Allan Grice), Larrakin Larry (Perkins), Super Tom (Walkinshaw), Talamalmo Farmer (George Fury, though that was just stating a fact)

Don't forget Crash Bandicoot.

As for Dean Canto - he's had Dino (the dinosaur) on the back of his helmet this year. Don't be surprised to see something else on it next year. A character from Austin Powers perhaps.............?

Speaking of George Fury, I was in the Jingellic Pub (a village on the Murray River not far from Talmalmo) some years ago and saw a little guy in a terry towelling hat in the beer garden.

I asked the barman. "Is that George Fury?"
"Yes" he said.
"What's he do these days?"
"Drives the school bus"
"Really?"
"Yes, really" the barman said "and it hasn't been late once..."

RDMDOG, go easy on Greg.

When you are 12 years old, a season seems like an eternity.

Besides, it will be school holidays soon, so if you get him upset he might go & post over at V8 Kindergarten (central), or out of sheer desperation Conrod.......

Remember, without his post's, you'd have to read my beer poor attempts at humor.

He was driving the school buses back when he was racing and rallying the Datsun's....i mean Nissan's.

Hungarian born from memory......ironic that a Hungarian born Australian farmer and a Yugoslavian born New Zealand farmer (well, all NZer's are farmers aren't they ) fought out the 1986 ATCC. I would have been a Francevic fan (i was 3 at the time of his win, and that was his only serious attempt), but there haven't been many nicer fellows in motorsport than George Fury.

When will a guest in the commentary box on TEN these days refer to Crompton as 'Neils on Wheels' as Doug would say, or the 'Skid lid kid' as Mike would........

I was waiting for a mention of GS...

The old days were good for them... I always wondered where KB's "Sniffer" tag came from... and exactly why it was that Gricey referred to Frank Gardner as he did...

..."Father" French (in 1983 Gibbo wanted to re-label the Bluebird's name board with "Fred Gibson and his Dad")

ahhh, nicknames, we have Mike Raymond to thank for some of the all time greats dont we: Johnny "Chooklotto" was always a favourite of mine, and wasnt he one of the early users of the "Captain Chaos" tag for Wayne Gardner, after Glenn Seton ("the baby faced assasin") mentioned it in a racecam cross.
Of course thats was at a time when the drivers were prepared to talk on RaceCam whilst racing, but I will never forget the absolute silence from Mike Raymond at an Easter round at Bathurst in 95 I think when Dick Johnson ("Queenslands Top Banana") had a wing failure going into the chase, going for a wild spin, was the quietest we ever heard the man.
Storyline was probably there and would love to hear how he saw that.

Uncie Cranker, I must admit I go hard on my old Ford, but I don't go so hard that I wreck the valves in the engine. The worst thing I had with my old Ford, is a faulty door handle and a water leak damaging the fuel pump.
