Rockingham 2010
I have received the details of this year’s Marshals’ benefits at Rockingham. Looks good to me, but is dependent on the chief marshal giving Rockingham details of who signed on.
Marshals Parking At each race meeting there’s a designated secure marshals parking area behind the Rockingham Building and we operate a minibus shuttle service to take you into the paddock. Camping for the next meeting will be on the original site, but a new area is being prepared. Diner Discount Marshals are entitled to a discount at the diner on production of a valid marshals club card. We’ve also agreed lower prices for marshals at the outside catering units, and the one in the paddock will now be open for breakfast from 07:00 on race weekends. Friends & Family Suite Every time you marshal at Rockingham your friends and family (up to a maximum of four people per marshal) will be eligible to use the Friends & Family suite (located on level two of the Rockingham building) which has great views of the circuit and tea and coffee available all day. Hospitality at the Rockingham Stages Rally If you marshal for Rockingham six times or more throughout the year at race meetings, you and a guest are invited to enjoy a day out at the Rockingham Stages Rally in December. Watch the action from the Marshals exclusive hospitality suite while enjoying complimentary drinks and lunch. Free Rockingham Track Day Place If you marshal for Rockingham ten times or more throughout the year at race meetings, you'll get a free place on either a car or a motorcycle track day at Rockingham. Use it yourself or give it away as a great Christmas present. Track days must be taken by the end of June 2011. |

Don't manage to get up to much apart from Shell eco marathon and the winter stages, but this seems to me a good "support package" to encourage folk to attend regularly. On a cold wet summer morning the catering unit being open should be a godsend!

Great Marshal Benefits - shame we didn't have those in the good old "Roundy-roundy" days

Good news about the discount now being valid at the outside catering units, as the unique layout of Rockingham makes it awkward to get to the Diner after sign-on and then back again to go on post.
Very much looking forward to BTCC in a couple of weeks. |
