HSCC, Croix-en-Ternois

What a great little circuit, and a great weekends racing! (apart from coming home with numerous insect bites!)

I was shooting for the various magazines, and really enjoyed, as with every HSCC meeting. Hopefully you'll be back soon, and so will I...

There's a few photos attached, and at least Saturdays should be on my website tomorrow...

I was there with the Morgan - until the engine let go in practice. It is a charming circuit and although quite short very technical. The HSCC entry was a bit thin which is a shame because Croix is not far from Calais and when combined with local cuisine and good weather it makes a welcome contrast to flogging round the Silverstone National circuit on a wet Sunday in April !

I hope it makes the HSCC calendar for next year and that the grids are fuller.

and I was there with Midget #54, a great weekend; a track for the neat and precise rather than the brave and furious, except I'm neither ;-)

I was there, purely as a spectator (for a change!). Great meeting and very well organised by our French colleagues. I hope that it gets better support from HSCC competitors if the club goes back again. It's so easy to get there and the opportunities for socialising, eating and drinking, as well as racing on such a nice little circuit, make it a great weekend.
MikeHoyer - I had a very pleasant chat with your father but sorry that I didn't get to meet you.

I was there again this year, for what must be my forth time. It's such a great little circuit with a fantastic atmosphere. It's always well organised, especially the way they always manage to arrange for good weather!

I managed to practice/qualify on the Saturday - but stupidly a beer-related incidence on the Saturday night/Sunday morning stopped me from racing on the Sunday. The car raced but i watched from the shade of a pit garage!

Great pix Mike!

It was nice to know you all enjoyed your visit to my local circuit. It's a long time since I've been to a race meeting where everyone I spoke to remarked on what a great weekend they'd had.

Hopefully you'll spread the word amongst the competitors who didn't come & then we can look forward to some full grids at Croix next year where you will be assured of a welcome. We are very friendly around here!
