2008 British Grand Prix - Marshal's Prize

Well, all the 2009 availability lists have been rec'd, reviewed and returned and the only free weekend just happens to coincide with the Italian GP @ Monza. So that's where I'm heading.

"Her indoors" (with no interest in motorsport) was looking forward to lazing around Lake Como and (expensive) shopping trips to Milan. But no interest in racing - no trip to Monza. So indoors she stays. Dave Lea (Chief Marshal - DDMC Croft) going with me. We have seats in Left Laterals grandstand opp. pit exit.

Anyone been to Como before and got any thoughts for a couple of half day touring? Anyone marshalled or spectated @ Monza and has any recommendations?

Never been to Monza so can't help with info, but I just want to say that I hope you have a great trip. You deserve it after all you've been through in the last two years.

But not if you're afraid of heights!

Have a great time.

Ty, speak to Davy Anderson - he was there last year with a friend to watch the GP, in the same seats as you are I am sure. He will be able to advise, think he flew from Prestwick on Ryanscare then hoteled it.

If you cannot wait until the 1st Knockhill meeting you could PM him (the
flying haggis) but i dont know how often he checks on here. If you get no reply then let me know and I will get him to contact you with his details.

Have a good time.
