crozier74 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Favourite/best corner

Seeing as we just had a "favourite track" thread, thought this might go hand-in-hand with it

There was actually a similar thread here on the same topic quite a while ago, but thought I'd rejuvinate the topic.

So, what do you think?

Most famous?
Most technical?
Most fear-enducing?
Most fun?

What in your opinions are the Eau Rouges of the karting world?

The most fun I've driven a kart through is the "chicane" at Darley Moor:

It's a narrow right-left-right chicane.

You change up to 5th just before the entrance (95mph) and hold it flat all the way through. As you turn left the back end starts to slide out, then you coax back it to the right and wait for a second before notching it into 6th (110mph exit) and plunging down the hill.

I always hold my breath around this series of corners as they're so damn fast - great stuff

After visiting Lydd at the weekend, I really like the little drop left hander before the "horseshoe" little lift and flick it in. great corner. I also love the sequence at Buckmore where you go from the top section to the bottom syme's sweep IIRC.

Dan Fielden has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
The first corner at the Peel races here in the Isle Of Man. Your doin 85+ MPH along the prom and then flickin it up the hill towards the chippy. You need to bee over the double yellow lines next to the curb at the apex and your hard on the throttle. Very challenging corner but great great fun

Paddock bend, the first right-hander on Three Sisters is pretty fun. You go up the start/finish line and take Paddock flat-out and have to keep to the right, and almost immediately have to stamp on the brakes and turn in at just the right moment to get the perfect line into the left-hander leading onto Rogersons straight.

The Bus Stop at Kimbolton looks tremendous fun. The Chicane at Ellough can be great fun if you get a good line through it, however also produces fear if theres a crash at that point as the chances of being avoided by karts behind are very slim with barriers each side

Another fun combination of corners are T1 & 2 of Lessay circuit in Normandy.

Steep uphill over the start/finish line you can't see the first corner. You scrub off a bit of speed and flick it right with blind faith. Then you give the throttle a quick squirt, but slow down more still for another right hander, T2. This corner is tight and blind on the entrance, as it drops away from you, but once you start to get into the turn you can floor the power because of the camber. It spits you out at about 50mph, then you head down to the lowest part of the circuit. Something that seems similar to a mirror image of Aqua Miniralli at Imola..

Track from the sky:

The start/finish is on the left hand side, heading away from the camera.
