HairyDJ should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Lydden ERC 30-31 May

So who's coming out to play for this year's European RallyCross weekend?

Looks like a good list of entries already, with a week left before the closing date.
http://www.lyddenracecircuit.co.uk/erc_entry.php

Presumably tickets will hit the doormat any day

I notice from the Lydden site that they are warning speccies to arrive early on Monday - not too early or you'll be in our way

just us then?

no sign of tickets or anything - presume it's supposed to be coming out of the Lydden office as usual, hopefully not needing to go sign for delivery at the sorting office this time .....

In the end couldn't make Brands last weekend, as my back was giving me s**t. But plan to get some pain killers down me throat for this coming Saturday. So see you all on Saturday ha ha

Well, we were short of bods on day one, and only slightly more faces yesterday - seemed to be a lot of names on Tom & Liane's lists that didn't get ticked off as having actually turned out

Big thanks to Tom & Liane for soaking up all the hassle and especially for blagging some nice raffle prizes from some of the teams. I saw quite a lot from Kevin Proctor's folk, so a special thank you to them for recognising our presence.

Also great, as ever, to see Clerk Andy & Clerk John smiling and appearing serene - whilst no doubt busily paddling below the surface

Whilst I'm no great fan of the monster truck wandering around on the circuit without much concern for timescales, they were generous with their free drinks and put some effort into getting cans over the fence to some of us.

Our anarchic side came out when the tv crews were so unwilling to clear the track to allow following races to beat the curfew - next time surround them with marshals blowing their whistles & the footage will be pretty unusable

Some good racing both days and not a bad showing from the Brits. We did feel sorry for the swifts coming out after the best Div 1 cars - quite a contrast and usually had the "bonus" of bedding in the track after fresh watering. Very impressed to see so many cars make it back out after significant repairs - rebuilding a car in less time than my garage takes for an oil change!

I don't want to be seen to be blowing my own trumpet, but if it wasn't for my wife going to a lot of the teams for merchandise, all there would be for the marshals raffle was 7 boxes of chocolates!
Derek Tohill was a bit upset as he didn't have anything to give for the marshals, but he said he'd be getting things sorted the next time he comes out to play!
