McLaughlin's Dreams Ended.

Mike McLaughlin's dream of winning his first Daytona Busch race ended after crashing out with two laps to go. Before the race, Mike was being helped by a whole bunch of fans, fellow crew members including Harold Holly with Stewart's Crew Chief Craig Zipadelli donating his money to the team and Todd Bodine chipping in to pay his tire tab. Also XM radio and Darrell Waltrip Store website sponsored his #39 car. Unfortunately, his race was ended when Jimmy Vasser wrecked and he couldn't slow down his Ford in time to avoid the wreck. Rockingham is the next race and McLaughlin will have to find another car to race with.

Just to keep the facts straight, Magic Shoes wasnt even close to winning and Shimmy didnt wreck, he was rammed by Clod Bovine.

was a shame to see Mikes race come to an end like that , beofre the race down here in australia they showed a little piece on him and what he has gone through , certainly made me look out for him during the race so it was a sad way for it to end for him.


I certainly hope he can get some good results to help keep him going in the future.
