Dangerous games should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Whos do you rate as your f3 driver of the year?

Was reading something the other day a bit like this in a mag and i wondered what everyone else thought! Pick from the poll one F3 driver that you reckon was brill this year!

well i voted carroll.

it was just for me, for a guy in trouble as much as he was to have raced for 4 teams this year and all else thats gone on. he also seemed to be the most racey and sato like of every f3 driver from both the main series' so im voting carroll because he is my fave f3 driver but he is my fave f3 driver for a reason you know!

although he was **** at magny cours races

In the British series it has to be Alan VDM, he did what was needed to bring home the championship and was always totally professional in and out of the car.

Normally I would vote for Briscoe, but because this pole is about the british championship, I can't vote for him. I voted for VDM because he's the champion, he scored the most points, so he did the best. But Green, Piquet and Carroll were also very good. I hope they do well next year, because I think they all stay in F3 for another year

I agree with Daisy: Briscoe.

This is an international forum, so why don't you label the poll accordingly? You are specifically asking about British drivers.

VDM. He changed so much as a driver over the off season, he believed in himself and he knew he had to deliver the goods. The fact is, he did it in style.

Apparently Clivio piccione had an accident on friday morning at the sardinia Masters and was unable to drive in both races, Was this because the car was unable to drive or was he hurt? I just thought that if the accident was on monday wouldn't have they been able to fix it? It must have been bad! I hope the mans ok if he was hurt!

Just wondering, who voted for Fauzy?

It would be interesting to hear your reasoning!

Well, since Andrew Thompson wasn't in the list, I voted for Nesto, for the same reasons I gave in the "best international drivers" poll.

If I'd followed my head, I would have voted for vdM (in which case he would have drawn level with the Brazilian - D*MN DA*N D*MN DA*N!!!), but after giving him so much support on the website-that-cannot-be-named early in the season, I do just have to say that, while he's a great driver, he's SOOOOOO BORING!!! Sorry, it's just the way I feel.

But we saw Viso at the Winter series at the Stone, and he really shone there, so we'd kept a quiet eye on the lad all season. Top bloke.

Surely you can't be talking about the man with so many different names

van der Merde!
van der Vampire
van der Nervous
van der SmartAr*e

to name but a few that my friends and I have given him over the past few seasons.

And if you still don't believe me, here he is playing with the vampire bat that he was given for winning the Championship...

My vote for Nelsinho; he did very well being unexperienced about english circuits, and drove for a team who was unexperienced as well.

Piquet Jr arguably has as much F3 mileage in the series as anyone. Probably even more than Tor Graves.

Given how many DNFs Tor has had, Nelsinho has probably done more miles

And before anyone has a go at me for saying that...

I like Tor - he's a great guy!

autosports top ten-

1- VDM
=- piquet jr
3- carroll
4- green
5- viso
6- watts
7- austin
8- dahlgren
9- antinucci
10- davison

imo i waould swap davison with power. skill wise i would put carroll, piquet and maybe green ahead of vdm and if viso is in it then there is no reason kane shouldnt!

i'd take davison out completely, put van der merwe down the list cause in the end he did what he had to or he may as well have quit there and then. green, i think could have done what he did at the start of the season (admittedly pre-snetterton massive accident) more often, and hopefully he'll be doing that next year. so i'd move him down the list.

i'd seriously think about putting ernesto viso up the list. simply because it's absolutely brilliant to see the 'win at all costs' mentality back in motorsport. such a shame the british guys all seem a bit oblivious to it.

antinucci... mm. not at all i'd say. as much of a disappointment as ronnie bremer to me.

i don't know what to think about adam carroll. i can't help think that as soon as the money's available the fire to go fast because he has to might disappear. i'd like to have that flimsy theory proven wrong though. prior evidence also welcome.
