Need help (pictures) with my IROC (NASCAR) resto project.
Started back working on my 1977 Penske IROC racecar resto project but all the pictures I have of the car are either front or side and I desparately need some shots of the rear and even better with the trunk lid open. Failing pictures of an actual IROC race car shots of the rear and boot area of a typical Banjo Matthews chassised NASCAR car of that period.
The reason I need this is because the rear of the car was lightened when raced over here (dont ask why they must have saved all of 30ibs off the rear end which is not what is wanted) and I want to replace it with sheet metal panels as original but am not sure how much of the original panels would have been used on the skeleton space frame chassis. Any help would be appreciated. |
