Well done Casey!

Congratulations to Casey Stoner for his first 250 win.

His move around the outside of De Puniet coming into the parabolica was just supurb!!

Yeah well done Casey. To come through from 12th was excellent and especially so quickly. He didn't seem to be lacking in horsepower either which was a good sign.
I just hope he doesn't come to rue his unfortunate fall in the first event.

casey rode a brilliant race and I'm stoked to see him with a race win this earlyinthe season. Casey was moving thru the field in the first race and looked to have great bike speed before retirng. Does anyone know if Casey indeed had an engine failure or was he blaming himself for the retirement?
Hope fully this is the first of many wins this season and I think the 250's this year will interest me more than the premier class. So many of the fast 125 guys have moved up and it's great to see casey finally able to match them bike speed wise.

Go you good thing !

I have heard no official word as to the cause of his crash but the fact that he lost the backend coming into the corner where he would have been on a training throttle would seem to indicate a mechanical problem rather than a rider error.

Barely mentioned in the pre-season hype and now a real championship contender.

Top ride! I was expecting him to bin it at any moment like he normally does in the rain while leading but there was not one mistake... If there had been 'The Dove' would have been by in a flash.

This is going to be a tight battle for the title - I thought it would have been a walk in the park for Pedrosa but obviously not. Stoner has to be the favourite now but there's Pedrosa, Barbera, lorenzo, Porto and, of course, 'The Dove' who can all win races.

Another good ride for Casey today. Looked like he chosethe wrong tyres today , but all those points for 4th won't hurt. It's to see him again at the pointy end of the field.

I agree. He seems to be riding with a more level head when they get passed him, by not riding at 110% and not throwing it away .
