Thank you ladies!

Yes, my 42nd birthday (yes, I am that old! ) was an achievement, as it is also the 2nd anniversary of my coming out of hospital as well!

And just to show I am still getting better, Jackie and I have just returned from our first post-accident holiday in Florida, and during this we did the Richard Petty experience, and as a passenger lapped the Daytona International Speedway in a NASCAR at 160mph! On the 31 degree banking - it's awesome! Not bad for an amputee! Definitely recommended.

Hi Steve, many happy returns and I'm glad you have at last managed to get away on holiday and relax. Hope to see you soon, but maybe after the suntan has faded or I'll be extremely jealous

Relax? We only used the resort pool once, and that was at 10.30 at night!

And tough on the cine film and piccy's, you've inflicted enough pain on me over the past couple of years!!!!!!

And the Richard Petty experience is exactly as I described it!

Just seen the Autosport paragraph.

Was sure I'd only lost one leg! Plus 2 inches out of the other one!!!! Oh well, at least the 160mph bit is right!

Thanks all for your wishes.

yet another belated birthday greeting Steve. 42 eh!!
my wife keeps reminding me I will be 60 next year ,and I'm not even 59 till next month, but thats what women are good at. I bet the Richard Petty experience is awsome, Pehaps if I win the lottery I will make it. (close last week-end 6 different numbers and I would have won)
