Istanbul TV coverage
Now, tomorrows F1 coverage at Istanbul should be a cracker, as we will get to see the likes of MS, Sato etc battling through the field, or will we?
The whole point of single lap qualifying, and the reason why it was introduced is simple; if a fast car screws up on his single lap, he will be forced to the back of the grid, and would have to fight his way through the pack on Sunday, (and produce overtaking as a result). Its happened a few times this season and last. Fast cars that have been sent to the back of the grid have not been followed at all, and before we know it, X driver that started on row 9 has made it to P5 without showing us any of "the action". What is the point of single lap qualifying if come Sunday we don't see them fighting through? I sincerely hope tomorrow doesn't prove me correct, and we get to see some good action from MS, JV, Sato, Button etc. |

We'll probably miss everything as usual.
Although they did alright for the GP2 coverage, but there was so much going on that it was hard not to have action on screen anyways. |
