the rules are, you can't just take montoya cause he's the fastest. in fact, you're not allowed to have montoya. everyone would take him, and that's a fact.
but what about engines and chassis? toyota seems good, but a little lacking in reliability. ford's not so good, but a bit more relaible. honda seems good in the hands of penske. chassis? well, lola's the one to have, although reynard have kept up. my choice is - christian fittipaldi -i believe he would do well in the right set up. and if not? i'll have to talk to helio oriol servia -i like a guy who has a degree in engineering. has a little something over others. also seems to learn fast. ford/lola -it seems to be the best. of course, there'd have to be some adjustments (am i allowed an afterburner? no? what about a rocket?) |

well firstly i would sign Roberto Moreno straight away and give him a young guy like Jason bright or Jonny Kane to teach all about the cruelty of the sport.....maybe mercedes engines ..they seem ok at present ..firestone tires ...and get penske to hot up a reynard chassis for me ...ohhh and get McDonalds or coca cola to give me $50 million a year..and then I might go racing...ohhh and buy the biggest motorhome in the paddock and build my own track with a crazy loop to loop in it just to see if the cars really can drive upside down and stick like Ive always been told ....nah...think i will just buy a visteon hat instead !!!

I would put Paul Tracy and Scott Dixon in a pair of Reynard-Hondas.

Memo Gidley: Had shown great talnet in subbing roles
Tommy Kendall: IMSA/trans-am expereince warrants a ride --the only potential problem with this setup is that you have two inexpereinced drivers, whereas traditional iwsodm would say put a rookie in with a vet, but the heck with it. Honda/Eagle: The Eagle chassis, packagaed with a good engined, would be a winner given proper development. |

Just call me Roger Penske II. I'll take exactly what he's got as of today, and pardon my dust!
Meanwhile in Sports Cars it's a whole new day. If I were in control I would have a team in every racing formula in the world! But, like Marcus, I believe I will settle for my Team Penske jacket... and Panoz LMP Cap. |
