How do you attach photo's to postings?

Can someone tell me how to create a posting in this forum which displays .JPG photos?

I second that!

I can downsize to 400x400 and ensure the file size is under 102,400 bytes OK. However I never get a picture when I preview (after hitting "browse" and selecting the location that the jpeg is on my C drive).

Does "preview" work with images? Should I just submit anyway and hope it comes out?

Help.

(I promise to only post in moderation!)

First you need to be in the "full topic reply features" - ie. quick reply will not do.

I have then been selecting "Browse" at the bottom of the page where it says "Attach File". In the window that pops up I then click through to where my image is on my C drive - ie. my "My Pictures" folder, and then double-click the image file. Its location appears in the box next to the "browse" button.

As far as I know this should be it, but whenever I preview I get no image displayed.

Very Odd.

I don't think there is a preview feature, but you'll get an error message if your file is too big or can't attach.

If you're scanning photos, make sure you don't set the scanning resolution too high or your pics will be over the maximum number of bytes.

I can recommend IrfanView (download via www.irfanview.com) for very easy resizing/cropping etc.

Don't preview just post. If you preview it loses the attached file.

Well it does for me.

The car is Terje Schie's Peugeot 205 T16 (ex seppo nitymaki car)

Murray Walker in the background facing with the glasses
Johnathon Palmer on the left?? Is that schanche on the left?
And in the black ajcket behind looks a bit like Trevor Hopkins. Not to sure about that one though

I think it is Johnathon Palmer on the left, Murray Walker and Trevor Hopkins. I am not totally sure about the others as it was very foggy and I was only 16 when I took the picture!
