18, i wonder whether this would help the smaller teams (more sponsor coverage) or whether it would strach their small budgets even more.

From a fan's point of view 18 races would be fantastic.

Actually I wouldn't mind to see 38 races next year, let alone 18. However I suspect that team-bosses won't be as happy as I am...

18 would be great, but how to manage it ? At least the team bosses said they can't.

I think 38 races would not be possible with a girlfriend... |

That's there for a laugh surely!
Looks pretty good to me, nice to see Canada back to, if only in it's provisional state. |

Seems a good idea to run Canada and US just 1 week apart, shouldn't cost the teams as much as they are basically going there only once in the year.

Coronation Street won't suffer during any European races, (Thank God I hear you all say!), which means ITV might - JUST MIGHT - let us see the end of the race with the drivers interviews.
Canada and USA? Now folks, great to have them together and most sensible finacially. BUT, Coronation Street during those two races - my! oh my! oh my! two weeks on the run!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spa - ah! Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Time to look for a ticket. Last edited by Pitstop; 15 Oct 2003 at 23:02. |

Not to mention the finale at Brazil, I can just envisage a lot of complaints already about it's coverage.. |

Well we say there may be a record of 18 races next season. But judging by all those provisional dates we may end up with the lowest total of races in years! Unlikely, I know...

Well Bahrain are SUPPOSED to be 2% ahead of schedule so you can pencil that as a race day!
anyway lets hope for 18! |
