Mr. EX itement
Since Jimmy Spencer doesn't have any driving talent,Aparently he got "the call". How else could he win a pole ?

Jimmy has been having a very respectable season this year and he has been qualifying real well of late. So, I am not that surprised but I did feel that a Gibbs or Yates car would win the pole.
Jimmy is much better driver than generally given credit for. He came out of NASCAR's modified division so he has a good background in learning to race on the edge. He has a tendency to not use his brain on occasion but there are a number of drivers like that throughout motorsport. Jimmy is a good guy and fortunately, his heart is as big as his belly. |

Tim, I think McDonalds parted ways with him as a sponsor because he kept requesting free double quarter pounders w/cheese and super size fries from the Drive-Thru.

Todd and Jimmy seen to have the qualifying setup down, but the race pkg.and adjustments through out the race have been a little off for Jimmy and a lot off for Todd! I wouldn't mind seeing either one win! I like Jimmy because he usually says what's on his mind,I have been following NASCAR for 40 years and I don't like sugar coated,PC correct answers from the drivers! Thank you,Emfa.

40 years, eh? You got me beat there. I've been into racing for 40 years, just not always NASCAR. I took an interest in racing when I was 5, but I liked dragsters at the time. NASCAR became the big thing when I was about 15 or so.
I don't much care for that PC **** either. It's boring... |

That's why a lot of "old time" fans love to hate poor little Jeff ,He's too clean cut ,Perfect,Boring. Blame some P.R. firm . Jeff's just along for the ride (he's a driver) and besides, Who among you can knock his driving talent ?

No talent, humm, won a race at Daytona, and Talladega, yeah, take no talent to win at either track, and this was when there were no restrictor plates!
As a 43 year fan of this series, I agree with 1togo on this one. |
