2011 Formula 2.0 Open -China Asia Series-

NEW CHAMPIONSHIP OF FORMULA RENAULT ANNOUNCE IN CHINA:

Very good news...

Open Formula 2.0 has been approved by the Chinese Federation of Automobile Sports of China as the 2011 Touring Car Championship support races, will start April 9, 2011 in China since more than challenging international tracks (including the newly built car in Inner Mongolia Erdos field and the Guangdong International Circuit) for six points total of 12 rounds.

2011 Formula 2.0 Open season cost savings through a series of measures to popularize the domestic level formula game, so teams and drivers aspiring to participate. in the season of 12 rounds, each round of competition will be the top three racers finished trophies, annual champion will win the 3500cc Renault V6 Formula 2 days at the Zhuhai International Circuit free testing opportunities. in addition, the excellent performance of the season the drivers will be invited to accept the entry of Europe Formula Three well-known professional coach training and racing in Formula Three local high level events. Formula 2.0 Open from local players want to uncover potential drivers, give them a chance to the European Formula Three, GP2 equation, the equation of the more advanced games, and eventually train China's first Formula One driver.

teams think frd job not good. promoter no good. teams change. champ made this championship to be sucessful.

gomick, I don't think a Renault series has run in Asia for a few years.

This seems to be called Formula 2.0 for a reason. Not sure Renault allows their name used unless the rules are followed and tech is performed by the Renault program.

Its unclear at best as the only use of the Renault name is the discription of the V6 engine that is run in the prize car.

This series appears to be run by a team that is looking to group all the old Formula Renault cars and give them a place to race. Can't even imagine how the rules will work without Renault.

The program does not seem to be linked to and Formula Renault program run elsewhere.

Lam Pak, i heard there will be the first race of AFR ( The real one) on the 20th of March in Zhuhai, Is Champ gonna enter some cars in there?

Lam Pak it never says in the article they will join the new championship..

Thay will be racing in the AFR round in March, and so far i don t think any team expressed interest in the Champ thing.

champ is testing in middle march in GIC: http://eng.champ.cc/news/html/?162.html

teams cant test in same place all time. champ goes diferent places. this is a winer team.
