Oulton Park 25/27 May

I'm probably just a little confused, but I *thought* I volunteered for both the BRSCC NW on the 25th of May and the BARC HQ event on the 27th of May (Bank Holiday Monday). I have received tickets for the Monday, but no tickets for Saturday as yet - I'm guessing they will arrive separately - just checking really?

The reason I'm asking is that Page 5 of the pack that arrived (Official Instructions) says that signing on for Monday is on Saturday at 7am! I'm sure that is just a typo, but wanted to check I shouldn't have had any other tickets or had missed something else along the way...

Thanks

Looking on Facebook, we're all in the same boat right now, though I hadn't spotted the typo! I guess it's the usual of two separate clubs sending in their own timeframe. Still a week away, so not concerned.

Ah yes, both Brigette and I are coming to both days. Tickets arrived safely. Can't wait for the Scottish contingent, they always put on a good show for us, minis and the sports/saloons.
Monday looks like an interesting meet as well, thanks to BARC for a varied programme
Ps. If any driver from Scotland is coming down via Asda north of the border, I would love some snowballs and coffee buns. They are delicious and an admirable substitute for doughnuts & pork pies.
You will be handsomely rewarded for your 'shopping trip' and I can come & see you in the paddock early doors Saturday
Cheers.

Having started this thread, I now find out I can't go - I emailed Margaret and posted back the tickets.

Still going Monday mind - yay!

Hmm, not sure I've got enough waterproofs for Monday. Still looking forward to it, mind. I have a spare ticket not being used for anyone who wishes to marshal but can't get a ticket.

Ignore any forecast you have seen so far ...

DTM Sunday on Friday was 100% rain, on Saturday it was possible rain, what happened? Loads of Sun

Last time I was at Oulton, we had four seasons in one 40 minute race! As for the "forecast" for this weekend, last I heard it's supposed to be warm and sunny on Saturday, but I will have waterproofs ready! Monday is a Bank Holiday... That just guarantees rain...

You don't need an orange romper suit to join in. Just wear normal outdoor clothing (no flag clashes so not yellow or red and preferably not bright greens or blues). At sign on they'll probably be able to find you an orange tabard so you don't stand out too much. I did about half a dozen meetings before I was convinced I'd stick and so got the proper gear.

But if you really don't want to go the instructions that came with your tickets will tell you who to contact, usually the chief marshal.

Following a brief period of man-flu which prevented me doing Saturday, I'm now available to do Monday but don't have a ticket! Could anyone help me out please? I will be ringing Margaret to let her know I'm attending. Thanks

Mark, I have a spare I can leave at the gate for you. I'm assuming sign on is the same time for Monday as shown on the instructions for Saturday, so I should be arriving 7-7:15ish.
