Wacky Races
I have been searching for sometime through the internet and books trying to find the chassis numbers of the Creepy coupe, Bouldermobile and the Arkansas Chuggabug. Does Allen Brown, Dan Rear or the legendary driftwood have any info? Perhaps driftwood may have one for sale in his shed?

The Chuggabug was ahead of its time, an alternative fuel prototype.

The Bouldermobile ran skirts in the first 3 episodes then they were declared illegal by the FIA.

Yeah, cos they were biased in favour of Pat Pending. He had a bloody helicopter rotor, for Cliff's sake. Talk about moveable aerodynamic device...

To return to the original question... A copy of the original granite chassis plate of the Bouldermobile now adorns the "continuation" car which has been seen at the Goodwod Revival in recent years. The actual original Bouldermobile is rumoured to be in a private collection at Biggin Hill in Kent.

I think Mutley having retired from racing is now a part-time guard dog up at Bernies place at Biggin Hill.

There was a bit of controversy a few years ago, I think Bubba Bear was caught with some plans of the Buzzwagon in an Acme Photocopying outlet.

Well, the Ant Hill Mob's car hasn't been seen for years, not even at Goodwood - there were several Bugatti Royales there recently, which resemble the Bullet-Proof Bomb but lack the cachet and provenance of the original, as well as the all-important chassis plate......
The Gruesome Twosome also used a moveable aerodynamic device, in the form of the dragon wings which came out of their car and lifted into the lead -the Red Max also managed flight as well as toting a machine-gun, and rumour has it that the Italian scrutineer unaccountably failed to spot it before the first race and it was only disallowed when another team proposed to use a similar bit of kit on a car that was a colour other than red.... Meanwhile, there were problems at the Riyadh Raid when Penelope Pitstop was forced to wear a full-face helmet and change the name of the Compact Pussycat.

Did Dick Dastardley inspire Graham Hills style or visa versa?
