2006 Tyre/Engine Switch
How fast do you feel teams(Toyota & Williams i think) that currently run Michelins are gonna adapt to BS next season.... do you feel winter testing is gonna be enuff time to put together a whole new package... engine and tyre wise

It may take them a couple of races to get it right, but I am glad they are taking on BS tyres.
We (Ferrari) need other teams with money that can do testing so the tyres can be developed better. |

Depending on what relationship Bridgestone offers i suppose. If they make the effort, i dont see why they wont be on the pace for the first round. Normally though, it may take a couple of rounds.

Good to see someone who's part of an F1 team posting on the forum. What's your role at Ferrari? |

I doubt it'll be a problem for Toyota, they have the finances to test any time they feel like it throughout the off season and I'd wager being able to send out Zonta, Panis and Schumacher for testing duties is a bigger plus than Pizzonia and Webber.

They are very different to the F1 tyres. In addition the cars are very different.

Yes, the cars are very different, but a Ferrari and a Williams won't be the same either! |

The GP2 tyres are not F1 spec. They are F1 dimensions, but it's not the same thing. |

The whole thing started as joke anyway, somebody saying that Ferrari needs more teams to test tyres for them... |
