I must say I am impressed by how it looks. Surrounding buildings and greenery should look good, the circuit looks like it will have a couple of overtaking points and there appear to be good runoff areas as well.

Well done to the Indonesian promoters and Mr Tilke, I wonder how much they paid him?

I've found the area in Google Earth...it wasn't easy as most of the roads it uses and the infrastructure shown in the drawings doesn't exist at the time the satellite image was taken. The image isn't dated so how much now actually exists is unknown.

Using the existing buildings, I've approximated the circuit, it appears to cut through a car park at the series of 90 degree corners to the North.

Building a circuit like this in Indonesia? I will believe it when I see it.

Oh nothing other than the obvious fact they've started building the circuit a bit too late? I'll believe it when I see it. I've learned not to trust anything official in A1GP, they've already shown how unreliable they are.

Work on the Jakarta circuit started awhile back. Just because A1GP issued the press release now it doesn't mean that work only started now.

From what I heard the Jakarta circuit is well supported and is the very least of A1GP's problems.

Once Sepang is over we can start talking about Taupo not happening.. and so on and so on right up till the last race of this season
