Another 3am start in the UK. I did regret not having that feeling of watching Fuji live.
Hopefully we'll see some good hard racing from the Audi teams with Toyota right in the mix again. |

Not too bad compared to Fuji--only half-hour overlap with the Indian Grand Prix.

Good thing China and the Philippines share the same time zone.

I DVR'd the Grand Prix but I did copy-paste all the lap charts so I could have virtual "live T&$" while I watched the replay.
Most Grands Prix are anticipation events: will the leader break? Will the cameras catch two backmarkerts battling? Oh, well, maybe next time. Much easier just to watch one race, then the other, with only a single T&S screen open. But I will watch the start live ... as you say, that's 90 percent of the action. |

Unconfirmed reports here that several Japanese drivers won't be able to take part this weekend due to visa being refused.
So far I've only heard about Lamborghini Super Trofeo drivers, but again, nothing confirmed. Will try to find out tomorrow - might as well go to the track already ;-) |

There are a lot more Chinese scattered around the world than Japanese I would think ..... the Chinese authorities should remember that when it comes to issueing visa's . |

Well, tensions are a bit more than usual with the dispute over those islands. At least there isn't an active dispute over the Northern Territories (with Russia) right now as well.
