F1manoz to eat humble pie
I've been one to always side with the anti-Schumacher brigade in this forum because, well, I support Mika and could reel off plenty of reasons why I don't like him.
However, I am prepared to eat humble pie for today. *prepares plate with knife and fork* Schuey drove a marvellous race on Sunday, and deserved to win. He's been in a class of his own all season, has been quite the sportsman all season with some of his comments, even during the 'bust-up' with team-mate RB. *humble pie being eaten as I type* The scenes on the podium were wonderful and full of emotion, as was both RB's and MS' speeches in the press conference. I get the feeling they get along really well, although RB is a nice fellow so I see no reason why they shouldn't. As a side-note, the man who did himself no favours was DC. Some comments he made were those of a sore loser, and also comments made towards the team were partly unjustified. He's shot himself in the foot as many times as the car has failed. *humble pie finished* |
