just more marshalling and meeting more people in general. I love my marshalling so can't wait to get back into the oranges and getting friends into them to.

Putting on my Orange romper suit and getting back on the bank with the rest of you mad buggers, watching some great races and having a good laugh.

Alan Green should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Not all marshalling prospects, but thing to look forward to in motorsport in general in '07...
- Lewis Hamilton and Anthony Davison in F1 living up to the hype
- The ongoing revival of the SCSA series at Rockingham (insert Rockingham pleas for marshals here)
- The Grand Prix again, just because
- Returning to Le Mans (just spectating this time, but with a view to marshalling there again in '08)
- Marshalling more at Mallory & Cadwell if possible: failed miserably this year thanks to work!
Other than that, the usual reasons of getting to see good friends and good grids and good racing for a fraction of the entrance fee. Have a good & safe year everybody.

Al.

Motorsport related, in rough order.....

Marshal's trackday at Cadwell....
Training at Oulton...
MSV gold voucher usage (not decided on racemaster at Oulton or Porschemaster at Bedford yet)
First meet at the "new" Anglesey...
Buying a "toy" of some description and doing more trackdays (inc new anglesey I hope)
Want to Marshal an event at Rockingham for some reason.

..and generally lots of Marshalling in all weathers!

well, both can be arranged! Come and marshal rockingham at BTCC (hooray!) or British GT/F3 for your 'traditional' marshalling, or come and join us for an SCSA event on the oval - where you will be able to marshal infield circuit AND the oval in one day, and you have the opportunity to see 'local' weather variations too!

I may hold you to that! For some reason, only had my first visit to the rock last year (GT\thunder meet) and was really impressed by the modern thinking, a venue clearly designed not only for motorsport but also for bringing the spectators close to the action (although not as close as Marshalling of course!)

Anyway, I'll not drag this thread off topic, but will find a spare weekend to get down there amongst Anglesey \ Oulton commitments.

Mike Kelly 1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
In no particular order and just a few meetings:-

Marshalling in Dubai next week for the 24 hour GT and Touring Car race.
The camp site atmosphere at the GP (not the racing!)
Camping at the Nordschleife Karousel for the 24 hour race (the atmosphere here is 100% better than the GP!)
My long awaited trip to bathurst and Surfers paradise later this year.
Clubbies at Oulton, Mallory, Anglesey and many others.
Seeing all my marshalling mates after the long winter!

and lastly....... surviving a year of marshalling where I don't get injured

Jennifer...Anglesey is great, would suggest the 30th June/1st July meeting with BARC...should be some great racing with the Legends!

This year I am looking forward to going to as many club meetings as I can and as many different circuits as I can and not going to any of the big meetings that have been a disappointment in 2006.
