Thruxton F3 GT's - post meet
Firstly I would like to say thanks to all on post 12, It was a great weekend, good fun people with some cracking racing. Few bits and pieces to do as well always helps.
Secondly I would like to say "Race Control from Post 20........" Jesus Norbert and gang did you have your work cut out for you, hope your writing arm is ok? Thirdly what a great meet with some great racing, post 19 I.....Is adrenalin brown?? Hope all are ok and any confirmation on the drivers well being would be nice. It looked......scary from our post. See some of you Thursday if not thanks again and see you soon Dan and Dee |

Hi Dan, good to meet you today, good fun on post 12, though they could do with cutting the grass to improve the view!

I was one of the Post 18 crew, we went up to help out clearing up all the debris. The medics wanted to cut the Driver's overalls off but he complained that he needed them for his next race meeting, so he was at least conscious and pretty with it. I don't know what injuries he sustained (didn't like to get too close) but the car was like nothing I had ever seen before, the really odd thing was that the only body panel that was still intact and still attached to the car was the driver's door. I have nothing but praise for the Post 19 crew it must have been horrific for them, but they weathered the storm and carried on with the job at hand. We Marshals are a breed apart.

Dan, all good on 19...what a rush!!! We had 2 trainees on 1st race day too! Roger the Observer and I (acting IO) both shouted look/watch out at the same time and all hit the ground as the wave of debris came over us. Driver is ok with some neck and leg injury, but the terets syndrome may last after rescue cutting his crash hat strap!! One to rember..... |

Scrute thought it was also the worst damaged car he'd ever seen - You do not want to know how many years that involves.
I actually watched it from post 17 - Happened VERY quickly! Well done to all the guys on 19 - Respect. |

Reports that Norbert was taken to the med-centre with severe writers cramp are unfounded but it is true he got through a whole box of crayons
Well done to all involved with the post 19 incident |

Well done to the marshals on post 19. I was unlucky enough to be at Oulton for the G50 fireball so I know its hard work. Glad to hear no injurys to our lads and the driver Brad Ellis has a slight fracture to a vertibrae in his neck supported by a brace(reported on DSC). Well done and another reason to feel proud to be a part of the mad orange army!

Seriously although there is a limit to what we can say on a public forum because of the positions we hold in the sport we need to remember that this being on the WWW we don't all have access to the local media without help with links to on line stuff the locals can find easier. And we are just as bad with some of the stuff we post about goings on down here as well. |

Considering the level of (in)experience of the crew on Post 19 you should all be very proud of yourselves in the way you dealt with your 'tiny' incident. Trust me when I say it did not look any less scary from Post 20. I have never seen a car destroyed quite so completely. Ginetta build VERY strong cars! Thank you to everyone on Post 20 for a great weekend. Saturday started off slow, but things just went downhill from there! |

Further to the statement issued at 8.45pm on Sunday 29 June, consultants at Winchester Hospital are delighted with Bradley’s progress overnight and he has been cleared to go home today. His neck collar has been removed and he will not need to wear a neck brace during his recovery period.
Bradley is in high spirits this morning and eager to get home to recuperate for a swift return to racing as soon as he is cleared by his doctors. |
